Helping Hands

On behalf of Boston Children’s Museum’s Board and staff, we continue to be deeply moved by the overwhelming generosity of our donors, members, partners, and friends. At a time when many families face barriers to accessing early education, and the broader system is strained by workforce shortages and limited capacity, the Museum plays a vital role in filling gaps—delivering joyful, high-quality learning experiences that are developmentally rich, culturally responsive, and accessible to all.

In fiscal year 2025, the Museum raised over $12.5 million in grants, sponsorships, and endowed gifts. This critical funding included support for the Museum’s visionary climate resiliency efforts, Empathy at the Heart initiative, community engagement work with families from under-resourced Gateway Cities, and more. Additionally, thanks to our generous community of supporters, we have raised nearly $3 million in unrestricted support through the Helping Hands Campaign, the Museum’s Annual Fund; our record–breaking The Wonder Ball gala, an intergalactic evening that raised over $665,000 for the Museum’s inclusive access programs; and our Family, Library, and Corporate Connections membership programs.

We are humbled by the outpouring of support we have received over the past year, which allows us to fulfill our commitment to the children and families in our community. Together, we are helping children practice foundational skills and develop self-confidence, supporting parents and caregivers, disseminating resources to educators across the Commonwealth, and ultimately, working to build a more equitable future.
